to Park(ing) Day 2007
Hello all,
As an Inhabitat reader I have been keeping along with park(ing) day
since 2007 and I have always wanted to be a part of it. Now I will.
I've got a little over a month to get something erected for a parking
spot and I'm looking for ideas. I work in an architecture firm and can
build pretty alright but should I find a truck to put greenery in, or
a flatbed trailor... or something I haven't heard of?
I read some other posts and realized there might be some legal issue's
I should check out to be prepared for.
Any good starter suggestions? Anyone participating in Houston?
Thanks.

Hello Brey,
On thing about the greenery (we're doing this here in Orange County , CA) - we contacted a local nursery to loan us the plants for teh day- and they will actually help deliver. I'm not sure how you were obtaining your plants, but you might want to look into that!
Thanks & good luck!
Jamie

Great suggestion! thank you!!! I was wondering about the total bill for this and doing things for free is always the best way to go!
