rules for posting on the forum

Every once & a while it's good to send a reminder about the rules of our lstserv.  Here they are:

Keep it clean - no four letter words (fortunately, this hasn't been a problem)
No politics - we can have a healthy debate about issues, but let's leave the people/names out of it
Keep it local - let's focus on Park Hill issues and helping our neighbors.  Sometimes that means broader NLR issues, but we're a Park Hill forum

That's about it.  I have neither the desire nor the time to moderate each message, that's why we've kept the forum open except for registration (and that's to keep out the spam bots we were getting).

Thanks for your cooperation.  This is a good group & great way to keep neighbors talking.

I should add that the forum allows the moderators (me, Teri, Will & Matt) to move subscribers to 'moderated' status - meaning individually we have to approve the distribution of some subscribers messages.  

We will use this as necessary.  Sorry.

thank you, thank you, thank you.. This is a very good blog and group.. thank you for noting the rules and please stop the guy (RU) that keeps sending even though people are asking him not to.
