lady approaching us at 9:30PM

About 9:30PM a lady came to our side door through the carport loudly inquiring about a ride or money. Seemed harmless but I've been in PH for 10 months now and this was out of the ordinary. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. It kind of took us both by surprise. I felt like I was being a bit too paranoid but I went ahead and notified the non-emergency line. I had my house broken into twice in Stifft Station in Little Rock so I lean on the paranoid side these days.

Side note: Just caught up on some group messages I've missed - this was the lady with the cane that was reported in this forum around September 1st. I live on H and Olive.

She is the one that jumped in a car with me & two of my friends on Waterside, demanding $. I said no and she claimed she was HIV positive and would spit on us. One of my friends gave her $. I have now heard Her name is June and she lives in the apartments at McCain & No Hills.

Same here. "June" is American African and has no problem flagging down anybody who looks her way. She plays on the sympathy of anybody. Same MO... "Can you give me a ride" somewhere and then the "I need some money" familiar line. She goes big time quick. No  5 or 10.00, she wants more and will even suggest going to an ATM. Yep I call her the star bucks beggar because she is always hanging around that area begging. Be warned!

She lives in the apartments at North Hills & McCain. If your doers an unlocked on your car she will jump in and if you don't give her money she will try to spit on you.

I see her multiple times a week harassing people at the Shell station.  I have called the cops on her at least twice.  Now that I have heard about her spitting on people, I will call them every time I see her.  She is a known drug user and supposedly lives with her mother in those apartments.

I've had four confrontations with her. Once at Walmart gas station. Asking for money or gloves. Once on Waterside Drive. She jumped in the car with myself and friends claiming she needed a ride to church, asked for money. I told her no and she said she didn't like my attitude. Then said she was HIV positive and she would spit on me. My friend gave her $20. I wanted to call the police but my friends felt sorry for her. She was the shopping center across from Hobby Lobby when I was picking my Mom up. I told her to get lost or I was calling the police. The last time she was standing in the middle of Fairway flagging down cars for money.  Not sure what could be done about her.
