Sanitation Pickup

On the 900-1000 blk. of Garland, our garbage is still out front.  Are we to wait until Thursday, as there are loose animals about making messes.

Perhaps a car was blocking the path to it when they came on Saturday.  All along N. Olive & Cherry Hill area, they came for it then.  Also they had the 'claw' truck out then.

Nope, close but the usual taking of all my parking by my jerky selfish neighbor is not the problem this time. He's there, but not in front of cans. He parks for weeks and weeks in the same spot, usually at the designated yard refuse spot and we are missed until he chooses to move one of 3 vehicles.

They didn't pick up on West A at all.  The recycle misses that street a lot.  West A 500 block

The local number for recyclying is 1-800-333-7734. Call so they can get your recycling picked up when they miss you.

Sanitation's number is 371-8345.

I'm on West I Avenue.  I've had trouble with them picking up my recycling since Dec 17th.  No trouble until then.  The number to call for Waste Management is 565-0191.  I called on Dec 18th & it got picked up just fine.  They missed again on Dec 31st.  Couldn't call the next day since it was a holiday, but had to call 5x to get the Dec 31st pick-up done finally on January 8th.  Talked to supervisors on January 6th, 7th and 8th.  They missed it again on January 14th.  Called on the 15th and asked for a supervisor first thing this time.  I went through the whole history with this one.  It got picked up by the time I got home on the 15th.  This supervisor said they would go ahead and put in a ticket for my next pickup on the 28th.  It will be interesting to see what happens in the future. 

I don't know what's going on, but something must have changed at Waste Management.  The guys on the route or something. I don't know.

On the Thursday of the week I called 5x the supervisor I talked to said the drivers were saying they had picked up each day (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) when - obviously - they had not.  I recommend calling 565-0191 and asking for a supervisor if you want to get anything done.
