Associates,

As some of you may or may not know, I got involved in a rather massive encounter with a (different) temple from beyond the astral ages back in June. This temple had a book of very important information "about our enemies" that, while very tempting, was also very dangerous knowledge for one mage to have. So, we split up the tasks of finding this book so we had to do it in parts between different mages and no one mage could get their hands on it. Complicated, I know.

Late last week, I was compelled, almost out of no where, to write. It was confusing, to say the least. But I've used some divinations to track this incident and it has to do with searching for my part of this scroll. Of course, it's in the middle of summer and the stock market is just going nuts, so I'd love some assistance with this. I'm not certain I have time to go on a mad goose hunt myself.

What I wrote was:

"Below the lake of the namesake dam" .

I'd love your thoughts. I'd love a small party of you, if you have some time, to get together and go hunting. I'd also love a soy latte. And I suspect that, together, we can manage all three of these things!

So, thoughts, my dears?

OOC: This is national plot that came out of SWRE being run by our lovely Jon Grimmer. I've included him in this email, but if you want to run downtime actions/hunting for this, the address you contact is: griqk...@gmail.com . Told you guys I'd bring ya in on more plot! I'm also sick as a dog OOCly, so I'm not up for this myself right now anyway. Hopefully we can get this rolling together!

Not sure about that phrase. Look for a lake that is named the same as
the dam that made it. Do you have a pinpointed area to keep an eye on?
Google earth is my friend.

Hoover Dam is in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River and impounds
Lake Mead, near Las Vegas. I don't see any namesakes in that list.

There's also a Hoover Dam impounding a Hoover Reservoir in Columbus,
but there are countless namesakes out there, so best to look closer to
Utah for leads.

I haven't any leads at the moment. I could do it myself through some divinations but I really am juggling here. If anyone's gifted with time and wishes to do some guess work research into this, I'd be most appreciative.

OOC: Birthday weekend, and I'm hoping other people feel like chasing this plot too so... I'll leave it in your hands. If we don't make progress or some such I'll work on picking it up again myself next weekend!
