Magnet Funding Explanation

At this mornings Magnet Review meeting, parents were encourage to continue to stand as a proactive voice in support of school choice.  While recommendations for Parker include our continued status as a Music Magnet, the district has not indicated what  formula they will apply to the future of Magnet funding.  The decisions they make could potentially have an impact on how we are able to provide music education to our children.  Questions were raised this morning as to the current allocation of Magnet funding Parker receives.  The attached document is intended to give you a complete picture of the amount of money it takes to ensure a high quality delivery system at Parker.
