The Government Relations Department of HISD will be hosting a brown bag luncheon on Friday, April 15 at 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. to discuss the school finance proposals being considered by the Texas Legislature. We will go over some “School Finance 101 basics,” how to read a bill, and review the major school finance bills being considered by the Legislature. We will discuss in-depth the potential impact on Houston ISD.
