I'm new to playing Bridge and would like to attend a formal game, as I
have never actually played before. I have played Spades and have read
the rules of Bridge so I'm pretty sure I understand it, but would like
to take the next step and experience a game. I live in LIC, Queens,
NY and have a car so travelling is not a problem for me. Would you
allow me to attend one of your games or could you direct me elsewhere
where I can play?

BTW, my wife Lisa would like to learn as well, so she would be joining
me.

Thanks,

Frank Mesa

Hi Fank:

Bridge is a fun game to learn & play. The group we had at Park Slope Brooklyn has started playing more at the Manhattan Bridge Club.

You can check it out at http://www.manhattanbridgeclub.com/

If I can help - do email me at SNaya...@aol.com

Frank:

Almost every bridge club offers free (or very cheap) bridge lessons for beginners. I suggest that as a great way to get your feet wet.

The Manhattan Bridge club is sure to have such lessons and usually they're followed by a beginner's game.

Good luck,
