Bridge on Thursday Jan 15 - At Julian's place?

Hi Everyone,

Hope you're all having a good weekend so far. Unfortunately, Laura
will be away on business on Thursday evening so i won't be able to
make it to Pacific Standard then. But would you like to come and play
bridge at my place instead? I'l have to step away to put the kids to
bed but then can at least play some hands. Plus we have Heferweissens
and Warsteiners in the fridge - those wonderful German beers that the
Standard seems to be missing. I was thinking say around 8pm onwards.
We will have eaten earlier but of course we could always order in food
later if you're feeling peckish.

We live at 306 2nd Street, Apt 4B, which is right close to 4th Avenue,
about half way between the Union Street and 9th Street/4th Avenue
subway stops.

Anyway, let me know!

I posted the work to the website at 8:30 PM so I still might have
made it but my wife also got stuck at work and then she was in such a
hurry to catch the Port Authority Bus, she stepped onto the wrong
subway train. Long story short, by the time it got sorted it out she
didn't get home 'till 10.

I hope you'll be able to host another evening soon. Until then,
looking forward to seeing you at the bar.

We never did figure out which night was best - it sounds like Tuesdays are not good for Julian and Wed not good for Ted - so are we OK for Thursdays going forward?  And in that case, do we need to find a venue other than Pacific Standard?  In the meantime, Peter and I would be happy to host next time - does Jan 29th work for everyone?

Hi Rachel:

Mark & I with Richard + Elaine are playing the 299er knock out tournament at the MBC on 01.31.09

This is a two session tournament & runs from 1 PM to 9 PM

So I need to get work caught up before then.

Hence a raincheck request on the wonderful invite for the bridge & beer bash on the 29th.

Have a fun game & will catch up with you guys in a few weeks.
