Just a quick reminder of the upcoming November events.

1. The Brooklyn Stake Relief Society Conference

The Brooklyn Stake Relief Society is holding an activity for all Relief Society sisters on Saturday, November 1 from 10am to 1 pm at the Park Slope Building. This activity will consist of a special guest speaker, Sister Bennion, temple matron for the Manhattan Temple, various classes, and crafts. Lunch and translation will be provided. We encourage all sisters to attend and husbands to assist with childcare where feasible to make this possible.

La Conferencia de la Sociedad de Socorro de la Estaca de Brooklyn
La Sociedad de Socorro de la Estaca de Brooklyn tendrá una actividad para todas las hermanas de la Sociedad de Socorro el Sábado, Noviembre 1 de 10am a 1 pm en el Edificio de Park Slope. Esta actividad consistirá de un discursante invitado, Hermana Bennion, matrona del Templo de Manhattan, tendremos varias clases, y artesanías. Almuerzo y traducción serán proveídos. Les animamos a todas las hermanas y sus esposos para asistir con el cuidado de niños hasta adonde sea factible para hacer esto posible.


2. Stake Temple Week

The Brooklyn Stake Temple Week begins Saturday, November 8 and ends on Friday, November 14. The website: www.brooklynstake.org/templeweek provides more information. We invite you to review the website and sign-up to attend the temple.

3. Stake Conference

Saturday November 15 and Sunday November 16 is stake conference. We are pleased to have Elder Anthony Perkins, of the First Quorum of the Seventy preside at our meetings. We invite all to attend. The priesthood leadership meeting is on Saturday from 2:00-4:00. From 5:00 to 7:00 is the Saturday evening session for all members,12 years and older. Sunday, the meeting will be from 10:00-12:00 and will be held at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Brooklyn. The website www.brooklynstake.org/stakeconference contains more information.
