Hello, fellow enthusiasts of Pāḷi studies! I'm Marco, and I'm excited to extend a cordial invitation to our upcoming two-week Pāḷi course, specially crafted for those eager to deepen their understanding of this ancient language. With a background in both Vipassanā meditation and a transformative 3-month Pāḷi course at the Vipassana Research Institute, my academic journey from 2012 to 2017 in classical Indology, Tibetology, and Sinology, followed by a Master's in Buddhist Studies from 2017 to 2020, has significantly enriched my perspective. Fueled by the enthusiasm of our previous Pāḷi course participants, many expressing a desire to continue, our upcoming 12-day course will comprehensively explore all Pāḷi passages from a ten-day Vipassanā course, following the teachings of S.N. Goenka. Expect in-depth discussions on contextual intricacies, verse analysis, vocabulary, grammar, and profound meaning, even exploring the metrical aspects. These 60-90 minute sessions will be interactive, concluding with a collective recitation in a specific metre.
