Happy to share with you 'A Very Pleasant Experiment' of your Forum in Fazal Ganj Uchchhwa Basti.  

This Basti can now boast of being the cleanest of the 400+ slums in our city.  

This experiment is going on for the last three months.  All the households are now aware not to throw 

any garbage outside their homes.  A service to collect garbage from every house of the Basti has been 

organized by your Forum; and is working successfully.

All the house are now painted in nice pleasing colors and the results are in front of all of you to see.  Enjoy.  

Our next step is to transform a filthy patch of land in this Basti to a Children’s Park.

This experiment can easily be replicated in all other slums of our city.  

There is no need for forcing our citizens to live in slums.  

All it takes is a will to do it; and taking the stakeholders along with you, for it to become successful.
