Wow. What an Experience!

I am happy to share with you the tremendous Bhagidaari experience we had this morning.  

Your Forum had organized twin events for Gandhi Jayanti this year.

One in an elite neighborhood of Swaroop Nagar where residents came out of their homes; 

cleaned up their lane and painted.  And, the other one was in Chhoti Gutaiya - a neighborhood 

with densely populated houses of weaker section, who cleaned up their streets and the park there.

And, these were true Bhagidaari Events where participation from very diverse backgrounds made 

it so interesting.  Your Forum feels proud to be able to attract such diverse groups: 

A. Residents of B.N.Khanna Road, Swaroop Nagar

B. Residents of Chhoti Gutaiya

C. Students of “The Institute”

D. Young children of “Prerna Vidyalaya”

E. Kanpur Nagar Nigam Team led by Nagar Ayukta himself

F. Staff of Lohia Corporation led by its director

And, what we saw - The Energy, Passion, Feeling of doing Things together, and Positivity; I do not 

find enough words to describe.  It was simply superb.

We are taking one small step at a time making progress towards “Swachh Kanpur”.  And, thanks a lot 

for supporting your Forum.
