Dear All,

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the 5th of June, Filmbooth  invites you to WED’11.

WED’11 intends to be unlike any other festival. WED’11 will play out short films and short documentaries juxtaposed with crisp 10-min talks by eminent personalities, all films & talks being related to various issues of environment, sustainability and climate change.

The festival will offer the most interesting and solution-oriented films and stories within an evening and will intend to leave the audience inspired with simple yet impactful thoughts. Mike Pandey’s film Shores of Silence: Whale Sharks in India (winner of 11 international awards including The Wildscreen Panda Awards, also known as the Green Oscars), will be the opening film of the festival.

Apart from short films, talks will be conducted by Rahul Ram, Vimlendu Jha, Bahar Dutt and Jatin Singh - sharing their perspectives as artists and activists; as wildlife experts and as environmental entrepreneurs.

Filmbooth extends their invitation to all those who are concerned about the issue and want to be inspired to act. The festival would be held at Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre from 6:45 PM onwards.
