Hi All,
Please find more information about Paris Cleanweb Hackathon which will
take place on June 15-17.
I have heard rumors they'll have great prices, like seats in a French
incubator program.
=== Start of teaser ===
Paris Cleanweb Hackathon will take place on June 15-17, at Centquatre
during Futur en Seine (digital creation festival).
The Cleanweb Hackathons are a global initiative which aims to
demonstrate the impact of applying information technology to resource
constraints, and accelerate cleantech development. Participants are
tasked with building applications that tackle energy, waste, water,
and other sustainability issues by leveraging web, mobile open and big
data technologies. They challenge attendees on what they can do over
the course of the weekend that might just change the world for the
better.
Paris Cleanweb is part of the 2012 Cleanweb world tour and the first
event outside North America (
http://cleanweb.co) and partners include
major environment groups, cleantech organzations, Etalab (french
open-data) and technology incubators partners.
The hackathon will happen, at the same time and in the same place as
two other competitions: a "social entrepreneurship" one organized by
La Ruche, and a "City" one organized by Ville de Paris (around they
new intelligent street bus stops and billboards).
