Dear,

the values in my pressure files are changing only near the basin outlet.
How do I explicitly set the mask in the run script? I'm using python.

Regards,
Francis

Dear All,
I created my solid file using a mask (see attached mask.pfb) which indicates the catchment.
I checked the solid file with VisIt and it looks good.
But when I run the script, PF computes a mask (nalohou_run.out.mask.pfb) with fewer active cell near the outlet.

See attached my run script, can anyone speak to this please?

can I run the model without the solid file?

Best,

Quick thoughts:

  1. Can you include the solidfile?  Is it clipped by your computational grid?
  2. Are the patches you specify in your solid file

  1. You have a box domain and solid file specified, I don’t think you need both since you set the “Domain” equal to the solid file “domain”
  2. Is the precision here causing roundoff errors in your computational grid? (in general your numerical precision is all over the place, it’s really important to be careful with real numbers and integers)

Dear,
I removed the box domain, solved the precision issue, and set the patches accordingly, but the mask issue persisted.
Can you please speak to this?

Best,
Francis
