Mrs. Olson's class $5 dollars due now for class basket!

Hello Parents,

This is Michelle Simmons, room parent for Mrs. Olson's 5th grade
class. I have several action items to pass on to you:

1. It is very unfortunate that no one has sent in anything for the
class basket. The kids will be disappointed that their class will not
have a basket on display in the media center. Please send in $5 now
so we can have a basket. Make checks out to Lee Jones. Send home via
William Jones.

2. “Medlock Bridge is participating in the SOUPER BOWL!!!” Please be
a player and participate in the Medlock Bridge SOUPER BOWL! The PTA
Charity Committee and Student Council are coordinating our very own
Souper Bowl! Please have your students bring in cans of soup (or any
canned food or non- persishable items) that will benefit our local
charities. We will have boxes located at various locations throughout
the school to place your donations. Collections will end this week.

3. Family Fun Night - Flyers will be going home this week in order
for families to sign up for this great event. Please be aware that it
is a first come first serve event due to capacity limits in the
cafeteria. It is also a great opportunity to come and bid on the
baskets. There will be additional information in the flyer coming
home today and Pony Express.

4. End of Year class parties will be moved up to 5/26 (Thursday) and
time has been moved from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. As the date gets closer I
will provide more detail.
