How were Investigations-1 & Investigations-2 selected?

I have added to the FILES section my open records request, the SCASD's
response, and my letter to the Board today. I am deeply disappointed
that no peer-reviewed research or experts were consulted either in
2002 or 2009 when identifying Investigations as the core curriculum
for K-5.

I appreciate that the District has tried to develop an "Action Plan",
but find that it will not sufficiently meet the higher California or
Massachusetts math standards.
