Brain-based Learning for
Early Childhood #133-11
October 1, 2010
9:00 am - 3:30 pm
CESA #9, Tomahawk
Participants will receive a review of the basics of brain development
and gain insights into
how we can have a positive impact on the brain in the early years. The
presenter also
simplifies this very complex organ by relating information we will
understand about child
development and how what we do everyday applies to the children we are
working with.
The presentation will emphasize that brain development does not stop
at the age of three so
those preschool and early years in school are so very important to
make real learning take
place.
Information will also be provided on how stress affects relationships
and learning, and how to
work with at-risk children.
Audience: Early Childhood Educators, 4K, 5K,
Child Care Providers, HeadStart, Birth‐to‐Three,
anyone working in the field of Early Childhood
education.
