WSPEI is seeking proposals from school districts, communities, parent groups or agencies that would like to host a Parents in Partnership training for 2011-2012.  A limited number of PIP trainings will be provided.  Groups making a request must be able to identify 12 or more parents who are willing to commit to 4 to 5 weekends during the school year.  There is no cost to parents except for their commitment of time.  Groups making a request must be able to:
1. Identify 12-25 parents who have not attended a PIP or Youth in Partnership with Parents for Empowerment (YiPPE) in the past who are willing to commit to attend four or five weekends during the school year to the training.  A couple counts as 2 parents.  (A weekend includes Friday 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.).
2. Work with WSPEI to identify a local site and food service for the training.
3. Assist in advertising the training to other parents interested in leadership
