Changes to PEC Google Group

Google announced the following changes to the functionality of Google
Groups about a month ago:

"Starting in November 2010, Groups will no longer allow the creation
or editing of files and pages; the content will only be available for
viewing, and only existing files will be able to be downloaded. In
February 2011, Google will turn off the pages and files features, and
you will no longer be able to access that content."

That is the reason you haven't seen new posts or activity in general
on our group bulletin board. I have been trying to figure out whether
to keep using the group to just post announcements or shut it down
entirely. For the time being I will resume using it to post
information about conferences, workshops, blog & calendar updates
etc... The files I have uploaded will not be accessible as of
February. Take a look and download those you find useful. I will be
moving some of them to other places in cyberspace and as I do I will
post where I migrate them.

I would welcome any suggestions and comments. A list of active web
resources are below.
