Fresh install - "Loading Parchment"...then nothing.

Hi everyone. I'm not entirely sure what I've done wrong here. I have a fresh installation of Parchment on Ubuntu Server 14.10. I'm not sure what info would be the most useful, so please let me know what to provide to help troubleshoot the issue. 

I've placed the files in /var/www/html. The Parchment page is displayed that lets you search through the various interactive stories. When I click on a story to view / play, "Parchment Loading" is displayed for a brief instant, then just a white page. This occurs on IE, Chrome, and FireFox.

You'll have to check the Javascript error console.
