Good morning,
I received a promotional email about a Brant Baker resource. He has written several books, http://www.amazon.com/Brant-D.-Baker/e/B001H9RVNW/ref=dp_byline_cont_pop_book_1 and they look interesting. I was wondering if anyone has experience with these publications. For example, Wine in the Bible and Famous Donkeys in the Bible. And more!
Thanks in advance,
Malinda

Regarding the Bible study for people who’ve been together for 30 years, and would like a challenge, I recommend the Kerygma resources. They won’t live long enough to finish them all.
Others will have good ideas also.
Who can tell of their experiences with Brant Baker resources?
Malinda
Sidney,
I always push the Sisters series, especially the first one,” KNOWING GOD: Making God Making God the Main Thing in My Life” by Kimberly Reisman. It is very good for a group who is already close or for a group to use to become close.
Malinda, I haven’t heard of Brant Baker either.

Never heard of him.....will be interested to hear others views.
I have not heard of Brand Baker either.
Within the Kerygma series a group here at the church where I am housed just finished the Jonah and Ruth, an odd couple study and really liked it!
John Ortberg is one of my most popular check-outs still. Also, anything by Ken Bailey (Presbyterian national treasure) who lived in the Middle East for 35 years.
