A pastor at the church where my center is located is willing to share his PowerPoint slides and other materials. He recently taught a class that sounds similar to the request from Jenny.

Yes, I did. I used some resources from the PCUSA that I'll try to find, that i edited to fit my teaching style, including clips from the Documentary "through my eyes" from Gay Christian Network.
I fit this 6 week study into 4 weeks. I can send the PowerPoint Lessons that I created to anyone who requests them.

Hi Jeremy, didn’t you teach a class on this recently?
Any suggestions?

Good morning,
The email below is from Brian Ellison, executive director of the Covenant Network of Presbyterians.
Malinda,
They might start with our website, www.covnetpres.org, which has a wealth of resources available for free download. If there are books there they might be interested in purchasing, I do have some of them available.
In specific response to her question, she should check out the "marriage resources" button: http://covnetpres.org/marriage-resources/
The best class resource I can recommend is the four-part video series by Mark Achtemeier. It is available for free download online (http://covnetpres.org/resources/mark-achtemeier-sex-marriage-bible-video-series/) or I can send out a copy on DVD for $10.
Great books I'd recommend right now, depending on the audience:
Achtemeier, The Bible's Yes to Same-Ses Marriage
Matthew Vines, God and the Gay Christian
Brownson, Bible, Gender, Sexuality
All of those are basically from fairly evangelical perspectives, with lots of attention to biblical texts, but who come out in support of same-sex marriage.
Glad to talk in more detail if it's helpful.
Brian

Brian and Heidi,
Wondering if your organizations have recommendations I can share with PARC, the resource center group.
Thanks in advance.
