Thenormal yellow pyrobot has a green head and eyes, connected on springs. It also has a hatch on its chest with 5 visible screws. It has another patch near its waist with 2 screws. Its hands have 2 cubes in them, and a flame jet, which it utilizes in combat. It also has 2 cylinders that it uses to float above ground.

The Pyrobots have the ability to aim fire at Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. There are two types of Pyrobots: one yellow and one red. The yellow Pyrobot has a head made of glass which can be destroyed by Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong if they jump three times on its head. The red Pyrobot, in contrast, has a head that is made of metal and can't be damaged by conventional attacks; it can only be stunned with them. The only way to defeat it is by throwing a barrel at it or hit it with a Buckbomb. They are found on many Factory levels, and are fairly dangerous enemies. Their attacks consist of aiming forward and upward.

If you've added code that should be tested, please add tests. You can either add to existing test files or create new ones in the tests folder. The tests/run_tests.py script will launch and run the tests on a gazebo instance of the LoCoBot robot. Please also run existing tests and add new ones for the real robot (you can pass in test_real flag to the script). If you do not have any tests, please explain the reason.

Please also consider adding tutorials if you are planning to submit a major feature, application or algorithm. Almost all the scripts in the examples folder have their associated tutorials synced with pyrobot.org. To add a new tutorial, first create a markdown file in docs/website/docs or add a symlink to wherever you have added it in the repo (we suggest having a single location for this markdown file for better management). If you want to add a tutorial, you also need to declare the markdown file id in docs/website/website/sidebars.json so that it shows up on the website.

Much inspired by [openai_ros], this Open-source ROS Package [pyrobot-rl] cooperating OpenAI Gym and Baselines, MuJoCo Simulation environment, Gazebo Simulation environment as well as Facebook PyRobot/LoCoBot. It can be used to train and validate Deep RL control policy in both MuJoCo and Gazebo Simulator for the Facebook PyRobot supported LoCoBot.

PyRobot is an open-source project developed by Facebook Research Group. It abstract away writing ROS nodes and launch files for controlling the robot. User can simply write a Python script and call its library function to control and manipulate the robot. Right now, they have only support LoCoBot as their hardware platform.
