In Revelation 3: 14- 19, Father Yahweh inspired our brother John to write: And to the angel of the assembly of the Laodiceans, write; 'These things saith the Amain (or the Truth), the Faithful and True Witness, the beginning (or beginner) of the creation of El. "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would (have it) thou wert cold or hot. So then, because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of My mouth! Because thou sayest 'I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing...' and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel you to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, (hard trials) that thou mayest be rich (spiritually); and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent!" These messages are to Yahweh's called-ones, revealing the attitudes prevalent in the respective congregations. Is it possible we could have such a to-be-feared attitude? Certainly. We all have a 100% completely free agency. Everything we do, or have ever done, is because of our decision. If one of us has a lukewarm mindset, would it be easy to see it? By definition, it would not. In Hebrews 11: 6, the last phrase states that Yahweh is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. ZekarYah/Zechariah 6: 15 says the blessing comes from Yahweh's covenanted-ones being diligent in obeying His commands. And it is even likely that some of our trials are because we are being rebuked and chastised, because we have been being not diligent, making our trials and sufferings true blessings. Our Savior Yashua has shown the way. He has endured His burden diligently to the point He did not sin. He is worthy to bear the title of True and Faithful Witness, so He is our example. The Laodiceans are in danger of being !strenuously rejected! by their very Savior, a worse-case scenario! Because they are spiritually increased with goods - knowledge. They have let knowledge puff them up with pride, and pride is another attitude sometimes hard to see. A Laodicean attitude is shown to make one smug, not recognizing they are in dire need - dire need of possessing humbleness, and of having Yashua as Savior to pay the owed price! It is because of Yahweh's Spirit we can see we are very much in need of a Savior. We need the attitude of the tax collector who beat on his own chest, and asked forgiveness of Yahweh, and so went to his house justified, by the total sacrifice of his Savior Yashua. Our Father Yahweh, Who describes Himself as being love, says, in Rev 3: 20, that He stands at our heart's door and knocks. How blessed can we get? He says, if .any. man hears His voice, that is, understands His Words, and opens the door, Yahweh His personal self will come into his heart, and dine with him, and him with Yahweh Creator. What an enormous promise! Yahweh's Words of salvation for man, potentially all mankind eventually, is the most beautiful message ever spoken and printed in the history of the world. Let us be encouraged to be diligent indeed in our obeying of Yahweh's ways, which are taught to us because they are the only way that works, to lead to success and happiness - forever.
