Change Column Header Text?

I have to change the text of a column header at run-time. And, the data in that column needs to change at the same time. So I'm using a render callback to do that for that column.

Should I call $( ".selector" ).pqGrid( "option", "colModel", colM ); after I call $( ".selector" ).pqGrid( "option", "dataModel", { data: newData } );?
