Dear Friends,
I regret the delay in updating the outcome of the meeting on last Sunday as
I was stuck in few things.
Though the turnout in the meeting was way below expectations and only 7
members joined in, I take the opportunity to thank all those who joined in the
meeting.
As we decided on the next course of action, we discussed and agreed the
following points:
1. We shall be sending a letter to Paramount individually (draft attached)
on the lines as per the draft. We hope that this draft shall be finalized after
having it reviewed by few of our members and we shall finalize it on or before
coming Sunday. All of our member friends shall be advised to send the letter to
Paramount on individual capacity thru Speed post / mail in next week.
2. We have principally agreed to form an Association named “Paramount
Floraville Flat Allottees Association – PAFFAA” and now onwards shall be moving
towards its formation and legal status. We intend to hold a meeting of all the
Floraville investors / allottees to conform their membership that could be in
next 1-2 weeks from now. In the meanwhile we are working on the Article of
Assciation that shall be ready by end of this week and shall be uploaded on
Google Groups Dashboard for review by all members.
3. Next step in this direction is to invite the nominations from all of you
for the office bearers in our association. These positions shall be open for all
members and one has to put forward their name for the specific position
(nomination) with reason why he should be considered suitable for this position
in the association. We intend to make our association function in true
democratic way and would like it to be fair, unbiased and more importantly
taking along all the members without any discrimination while safeguarding their
common interest.
The proposed Office bearers for this association would be :
1. President
2. Vice President
3. Secretary
4. Joint Secretary
5. Treasurer
The Nominations for the above office bearers shall be invited from this
Sunday onwards online as we shall be creating a Nomination system soon. These
nominations shall be discussed among the members general body meeting in the
next meet (likely to be held on 24th Feb 2013, confirmation shall follow) and
finalized. Thereafter we shall have members enrolled for Association membership
with some entry charge (say Rs. 1000/-) per head and go for the formal
registration process for the Association.
We welcome our members suggestions on the above and we can have a open
discussion online in the coming week to discuss those suggestions. We intend to
reach an agreement among our members during the ramp up to the registration of
our Association formally.
So guys, time for some brainstorming and real action and active
participation, looking forward to have a large turnout in next meeting,
