Update on Meeting dated 3rd Feb 2013 - Formation of PAFFAA - Paramount Floraville Flat Allottees Association

Dear Friends,

 

I regret the delay in updating the outcome of the meeting on last Sunday as I was stuck in few things.

 

Though the turnout in the meeting was way below expectations and only 7 members joined in, I take the opportunity to thank all those who joined in the meeting.

 

As we decided on the next course of action, we discussed and agreed the following points:

 

1.  We shall be sending a letter to Paramount individually (draft attached) on the lines as per the draft. We hope that this draft shall be finalized after having it reviewed by few of our members and we shall finalize it on or before coming Sunday. All of our member friends shall be advised to send the letter to Paramount on individual capacity thru Speed post / mail in next week.

 

2. We have principally agreed to form an Association named “Paramount Floraville Flat Allottees Association – PAFFAA” and now onwards shall be moving towards its formation and legal status. We intend to hold a meeting of all the Floraville investors / allottees to conform their membership that could be in next 1-2 weeks from now. In the meanwhile we are working on the Article of Assciation that shall be ready by end of this week and shall be uploaded on Google Groups Dashboard for review by all members.

 

3. Next step in this direction is to invite the nominations from all of you for the office bearers in our association. These positions shall be open for all members and one has to put forward their name for the specific position (nomination) with reason why he should be considered suitable for this position in the association. We intend to make our association function in true democratic way and would like it to be fair, unbiased and more importantly taking along all the members without any discrimination while safeguarding their common interest.

 

The proposed Office bearers for this association would be :

 

1. President

2. Vice President

3. Secretary

4. Joint Secretary

5. Treasurer

 

The Nominations for the above office bearers shall be invited from this Sunday onwards online as we shall be creating a Nomination system soon. These nominations shall be discussed among the members general body meeting in the next meet (likely to be held on 24th Feb 2013, confirmation shall follow) and finalized. Thereafter we shall have members enrolled for Association membership with some entry charge (say Rs. 1000/-) per head and go for the formal registration process for the Association.

 

We welcome our members suggestions on the above and we can have a open discussion online in the coming week to discuss those suggestions. We intend to  reach an agreement among our members during the ramp up to the registration of our Association formally.

 

So guys, time for some brainstorming and real action and active participation, looking forward to have a large turnout in next meeting,

Thanks for your hard work and putting everything together.

Just to make things clear for our group members. This time we are not just sending a letter by speed post, if possible we'll be putting the content on a lawyer letter head and sending to them. Better they start taking seriously and respond to our letter otherwise we'll go to the consumer forum.

 Is this the final draft or do we need to make some changes?Please confirm.

This draft is seemingly final as of now as I had inputs from Mr. DK Gupta as well. He is of opinion that this letter is drafted in good spirit and words therefore doesn't need a change as of now. So I urge you all to send this letter (with necessary amendments) immediately to Paramount on mail and also send the same by speed post by Monday. 

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LAST DATE TO BE MENTIONED IN THIS LETTER CAN BE 20TH FEB 2013.

Another dimension to this ongoing tussle is that few of our friends have received the revised demand letter from Paramount (one of them is Manish Panjwani who received the letter more or less the same with only standard non-signed ledger). So guys, this is going to be another wave of offensive from Paramount on this issue. Therefore it becomes utmost necessary for all of us to put our act together by sending the attached draft letter to Paramount by today only. Also we need to recollect ourselves and be ready to contribute with time and involvement in taking up this counter-offensive.

I believe many of us who would be getting the fresh letters shall be keen to have a meeting in the coming weekend. Let us come together and those who could not join us in the last meeting, should make sure to join us in this week. The confirmation of meeting shall be based on your responses this week till Wednesday. I would like to utilize the next meeting in collecting consent among ourselves and finalizing the formation of Association agenda.

Hello All,

First of all a big thanks to Neeraj for all the hard work.

I was just wondering, the initial allotment letter provided by the builder does not have any possession date in it.

Does any one have anything mentioned on their allotment letter and if not then 

do we have some paperwork of paramount floraville where expected possession time is mentioned in written.

We may need to find some paperwork where possession date is mentioned so that builder can be asked to meet those dates or bear some penalties for the same.

Please let me know.

If I remember correctly, possession date was mentioned on allotment letter as 30 months after the allotment date. My 30 months will be over by Dec-2013.

I asked my agent and he said this is standard duration, builder mention in each allotment letter.
