It is inappropriate for a Vaishnava to think in mundane terms of friend or enemy according to the bodily conception of life. Realized souls do not conceive of friends or enemies in the same way that ordinary, materialistic persons do. The impetus for action for the suddha bhakta is quite different from that of the materialist.
