Expectations as far as performance/runtime?

Hi Professor,

Can we get some guidance on what exactly is expected as far as performance/runtime? 

example requirements:

- Are we expected to implement certain things (eg using shared memory) in ways that improve performance?

- Are we expected to be under Xms for runtime time?

The assignment spec is a bit unclear but you did mention that there were some expectations in lecture.

The sample output includes the timings that we expect.

If you use shared memory you should be able to achieve that performance.

Cool, so as long as we're decently close (say, within 5-10%) of those numbers we're good for the performance criteria?
