Opt out CCD checkbox

I discovered an unexpected flaw today. The reference master settings REG_OPT_OUT_CCD_CHKD and REG_OPT_OUT_IMM_CHKD are designed to define a default setting for the relevant checkboxes on the visit entry screen. They have the desired effect when a visit is created in the full registration workflow, but DO NOT work when a visit is created in Ancillary Registration or when a visit is created on receipt of an HL7 order from an interfaced ambulatory system.

 

This adversely affects us in two ways. We are getting calls from our patients who use the RelayHealth portal asking why data is available for some visits and not others, and second,  since we are sending immunization data to the state that decrements their record of our vaccine inventory on hand, those numbers should stay accurate. I have opened a service order on this, and our front line users are correcting visits to manually correct.
