1) It is very easy to get dragged around and possibly hurt if you don't
know what you are doing.
2) You will probably want to beat up your instructors equipment instead
of your own when "learning the ropes."
After taking lessons, your instructor will advise which
wing/harness/reserve to buy. It will be a DHV1 or DHV1-2 wing either
new or used with very low hours. You should be near the top of the
weight class for which it is rated.
