A fast year with several good things that happened but unfortunately also some sad times.

We mourn the lost of Hercule, our flying buddy, and I mourn the loss of Jill, my lady friend.

My biker buddy Clive Saxe is recovering from a horrendous bike accident and another friend, policeman Braam Greyling is fighting for his life from a bullet wound caused by a robber’s gun.

Let’s hope for a slower and less eventful 2010.

If it’s eventful, let’s hope it’s strong but safe thermals, greater distances, new gliders, new flying buddies, new wives and girlfriends, the Lotto and lots of new fun!!!

Happy new year to all the pilots and wishes of safe flying.
Thanks to all the xmas wishes sent on my cell phone.
I spent 8 days im Bilene with my family and have done a lot of time on the mountain bike chasing the dream of eternal youth.
So far I got lots of pain from seating on the saddle and an 8Kg off the big guy.
No lack of commitment when you start at 05:00 on the 01/01/2010 doing a 40 km cycle run on a mountain bike!
The prawns were small in Bilene, the beer is always cold, and we manage to complete the roof of a 50 m2 lappa that we are building.
Hope your dreams come true this new year!
