Thanks for posting Brendan, that video is making some positive press for Pakistan When media is created telling how awesome the people and mountains of Pakistan are it's a good thing. Shams film has a little different twist and sense of humor than the typical adventure paragliding movie but I can't help thinking we need to new focus for movies about paragliding in Pakistan. Up till now it's all been about foreign pilots coming to fly and achieving greatness. 

What's needed now is a professionally done short film but with the theme and story about local pilots and their quest to fly. 

My September trip to Pakistan was transformative like all my trips. This time however I lost my passion and motivation to fly. Which gave me time to put some effort into training the pilots of Chitral with whom I feel a great connection. I have my USHPA instructor license and with some written and video material I was able to put on a good 5 day course with the pilots there. I hope to continue these courses including the pilots of Booni, Islamabad and Lahore in the future. 

I think we are at a transitional time as the pilot community here develops, I am seeing a greater attitude of safety and respect from the older pilots. I'm looking forward to watching the development and great flights coming from the pilots here.
