Just saw your message. If you mention your nationality, passport details and station of visa application, we may be able to give you a better answer.

 

Generally you are correct that our embassies sometimes create issues in such a situation.

Thinking about Pakistan in September...This may seem like an obscure question, but would anyone know off the top of your heads if a three week tourist stamp from Israel could deny me access to a tourist visa Pakistan? I know Pakistan is one country that has, in the past, denied entry due to a previous visit to Israel. I'm not finding more recent news on this issue, but I was not working or studying in Israel if this makes a difference. Thank you!!

Not sure.
One option is to ask Islamabad based travel agent Cox and Kings (owned by Sajjad Shah pg pilot / president of PAFF)
Search the googlegroup web page for 'FAQ' to find their contact details.
