Hey,

A friend and me are planning to go to bir in april and afterwards to pakistan in mai to end of june.

At the moment we are trying to get the visa for Pakistan.
We are already in contact to get the invitation and called the embassy of Pakistan.
We just might just have problems to get the visa to pakistan if we crosss the boarder by road (by walking or public transport or whatever). The embassy told us that this way is very complicated and takes a lot of time. The embassy told us it is much easier to get the visa, if you fly into pakistan.

Do anybody know anything about that topic or even travelled from India to Pakistan via road by foot (or public transport etc.)?

Quit a few have travelled by road between Pakistan and India without any problem in the past.
