I can't find what version of Fedora is supported by the Easy
Installer. Anybody know?
Also, is there a specific list of packages I need to install when I'm
installing Fedora? Do I need X Windows, etc?

you can use fedora 8 with all the packages installed in it with the
setup of internet settings so that when setup run, it will update from
the internet.
