Alicia & Liz here - just wanted to touch base with all of you regarding
happenings at the Paradox.
On December 16th we'll be hosting a volunteer appreciation party before
the show! Please feel free to bring friends & dates with you - there
will be food & music from 4 - 6pm! Two of our superstar volunteers
Nash & Hamilton have a band that will also be playing during the party.
Keep an eye out for an Evite invitation coming to you soon, and
remember to RSVP, so we've got an idea of how much food to have! (Any
suggestions are welcome as to what
you'd like to see at the party, too.)
December 16th will also be considered Liz & I's last show with the
Paradox. We want to let you know how much we appreciate all of your
help in making the Paradox what it is today - a great place to see a
show - and a great place to volunteer! We're still not sure what the
church has in store for the future of the venue - but please know that
you are welcome to continue volunteering, should the venue continue to
operate. We know Rebecca is
planning on helping out with this new version of the Paradox, and we
wish her the very best of luck in taking on this task! We'd very much
like to continue to keep in touch with all of you about new projects on
the horizon - if you're interested in such a thing, we will be setting
up a mailing list for our production company very soon!
Liz and I's choice to leave was a personal and extremely hard decision
to make. Both of us have put an immense amount of effort into
maintaining the quality of the venue's programming, and we hope that
we've made it a great place to be for both showgoers and volunteers
alike. We want to make this transition time a comfortable one for all
of you and if any of you have ANY questions about these changes, please
do not hesitate to e-mail us, call us, or just talk to us at a show!
We're very sorry that we don't have more information from the church
about their intentions for the venue in 2007, once we do hear anything,
we will let you all know what's going on!
Again, thank you thank you thank you from both us for your hard work
and enthusiasm for the Paradox - it means a lot to have such a great
backing of people for an excellent cause like this.
Make sure to RSVP for that Evite coming soon - this party is going to
be a lot of fun - we're going to have some great stuff for you there
(door prizes? gift bags? Paradox memorabilia?) It'll be great!
We've got 6 more AWESOME shows coming up - we hope to see you at some
of them!
