Me and Alicia and Liz met last night to go over some last minute party
stuff and I am excited! We are going to have a huge game of musical
chairs and an enormous white elephant gift exchange! Please bring a
gift that is from around the house, or the side of the road, or
something otherwise inconsequential, as I do not want people spending
any money on this, it's just for fun and weirdies. There will be a
prize for the winner of musical chairs and a prize for most
awful/awesome gift and most unique wrapping. And Nash and Hamilton's
amazing band, Drysun, will be performing!
And ohmygod the food. There will be so much. Lasagna, potatoes agraten,
Caesar salad, and lots of French bread as well as cupcakes. No
burritos, sorry. If you would like to bring a favorite side or desert
feel free but it is completely unnecessary!
I am hearing a very hopeful buzz about the future of the Paradox, I
will let you know as soon as a decision is finalized!
Here is a loose schedule for party activities:
4pm-Party starts! We all grab food, it will be like a buffet for old
people.
4:30-Drysun goes on and rocks all of our faces off.
5:15--Play musical chairs and then do the gift exchange.
6:30ish-Wrap up cause doors for the show are at 7.
I hope hope hope that everyone can make it! And let me know if you can
stay after to help with our last show scheduled for an indefinite
period of time. It will be Liz and Alicia's last show, come on down
to say goodbye! If you are old, you can also come to the after party at
the viking in ballard. See you there. (:
Note: In order to do Sound Running and Lighting you have to have taken
the 101 classes. If you are interested in these jobs, look for another
101 class next month???
