Dear Paradise Hills Sisters,

What can I say? Thank you seems so inadequate under the circumstances,
but for lack of a better way to say it--

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

Our service project last Thursday evening far exceeded my expectations
and hopes! I want you all to know the Fundraiser/Auction held on
Saturday for Michael was an incredible success and it was largely due
to you, the sisters of the Paradise Hills Ward! The baskets you
created were truly amazing! There were many, many comments on how
great they were from all the volunteers to those who bought them and
most especially from Michael's family. Everyone was so impressed, but
no one more than me!

Sisters, initially, I had no idea how HUGE this project was going to
turn out to be. I must say as time progressed and the donations kept
rolling in from the community, and since we had been asked to 'basket'
these items up and make them presentable also, my concern began to
grow, and I must admit, I began to question whether we would be able
to properly carry out this project. Shame on me for ever doubting the
truly incredible, great women we have in this ward! You rallied
beyond belief! Tears come to my eyes as I write this email knowing
what a HERCULEAN effort that was and you all pulled it off with such
ease and grace! Thank you all for your support, whether it was by
donating items, sewing, quilting, building baskets, tending children,
setting up/taking down, or just plain ol' agreeing to help a crazy
lady with a crazy idea--whatever way you contributed--Thank you again
and again! Please know that I would love to give each one of you a
handwritten Thank You Card, but, of course, I am unable to accomplish
that task, so please accept this as an individual thank you to each
and every one of you.

The Malarsie family were truly overwhelmed with the outpouring of
love, as was I, your humbled and grateful sister in Relief Society! I
truly cannot think of a better way we could have paid tribute and
honored the birthday of this great organization than through this kind
of Christlike service! Thank you for letting me learn from the BEST!
Your examples as incredibly great wives, mothers, and sisters in the
Gospel are such an inspiration to me. My greatest desire is that each
one of you may, not only know but, feel of my love and gratitude.

Thank you again,
Sister Dana Asay
