Justin looked over the plans he had for the shuttle refit. He was trying to
prioritize what would need built first and what could wait.

"Computer, start log." Justin started as he looked over the basics.

"Top priority for the shuttle refit will be the new warp core. We need to
reduce the size, and increase the power. This can be done by upgrading to a
class 12 warp core. According to Starfleet Engineering, they are just coming
online in the new ships and shuttles. I have already requested the plans for
this project. We will need to replicate a new core. This will take 3 weeks
worth of energy units. This will also be the most resource intensive piece to
be assembled. Once we have it built, and installed, we may be able to use it to
supplement our energy use. "

He looked over the plans some more.

"Next... we will need new shield and communication arrays for the hull of the
shuttle."

"Pause recording"

Justin got up and stretched. He went over to the replicator and requested a
large salad with strips of chicken, and blue cheese dressing. Retrieving his
meal he returned to his desk and sat back down.

"Resume"

"Next will be the hull plating itself. Starfleet has come up with better hull
plating than was used when these runabouts were designed and built. We will
need to upgrade the entire hull. We can start section by section. Once
fabrication is complete, we start assembly. This will take at least 3 months to
fabricate, and another month to replace on the runabout. Once that is done we
can start on the instrumentation."

Sitting back Justin worked over his meal some more.

"Refit of all main controls first. From there, we start the other internal
refits. Main cabin will need a complete refit to convert the entire inside the
main cabin into an industrial replicator. I don't think I will tell anyone
outside of the AFS team that they are essentially sitting inside a replicator.
Also, note, we need a mechanical shutoff for the replicator system, for travel
times. Don't want any mishaps. I think that too should be kept need to know."

"End and store personal log."

Justin sat back and looked over the designs some more. His hour allotted for
AFS team work almost up. "Just need my team to get together and the shuttles
delivered."

Justin finished his meal in silence, then went back to work on the main data
grid.
