Kylee sighed as she sat at a table in the cafeteria, fingers tapping on the table in a slow four count. She was beginning to truly wonder why she had agreed to come here. She had nowhere to work, not after the collapse, and in truth, she had been given no real orders. She felt as though she was in limbo here.
"Maybe I should have taken that offer to work with the Klingons," she muttered, contemplating whether that offer to work as Science liason would still be open. She shook her head, looking down to the glass of water and wishing for a good mug of bloodwine. At least then she could find a way to deal with the boredom.
She took a deep breath, taking a sip of the water before putting it down. Maybe she should find somewhere to work out, or go for a jog at least. She climbs to her feet, making her way back to the shack of a room. She slipped off her uniform and pulled on a tank top and pants. She pulled on her running shoes and left her room.
She moved out of this area of the dome, wanting to find some of the rougher terrain, preferring it to a simple track. She looked around as she enters the non-Starfleet area of the city. She frowned at the sight, though began her run, eyes moving over everything as she went by. She had expected some damage and such from the earthquakes, but this was not all the earthquakes. She studied everything as she ran, curious as to how it could have come so run down. She shook her head, focusing her attention back to the path before her.
She caught looks thrown her way, her brow furrowing slightly as she noticed most were not kind. She paused as she began to see more unfriendly looks thrown her way. She glanced around, deciding it might be best to return back to her room. She could run later, or at least find someone to run with, thinking it might be safer.
