Yim’Bar missed shipboard automated cleaning systems.  He missed his old roommate too.  Katerina had spent so little time as his roommate they barely had time to catch up on her life.  She was gone now off to some new quarters and frankly being the Executive Officer meant Yim’Bar needed full quarters alone.  He was moving too.  As he packed his few personal affects he found a couple toiletries in the shared bathroom that belonged to Katerina Wilkinson.  He thought it would give him a chance to catch up with her and a break so he took off from the quarters towards Katerina’s new space.  He chimed the door and awaited his old friend. 

Kat heard her door chime. "I'll get it Jason.." she said smiling towards him leaving him on the couch where they'd been seated and talking.

“Katerina, Kat.  How have you been?” he said as he entered.  “I have a few things I found in the head that were yours.”

Kat's green eyes lit up at the sight of her old and dear friend. "Hello ....Yim'Bar..." she said giving the big blue guy a hug  and gesturing him to enter her quarters. "I'm sorry I bolted on you...but when Reed didn't show I thought....." she said cutting off her words not sure if she'd upset Jason by talking about a man she used to be involved with.  "Thank you for bringing them by.......I thought I'd grabbed everything." she said with a chuckle.

"Well, it is a lipstick and a few other things that I have absolutely no use for, at least not in my current gender assignment."  Yim'Bar smiled and desired so much to banter further but sensed someone else in the room and did not want to upset anything he was unaware of.  He missed Kat but not enough to upset her new found happiness which had been all the rage in The Shack and other personal places where people were free to talk.  "So tell me how you are Kat."

Kat giggled softly taking the items he brought to her. "I'm incredibly happy...." she beamed. "How have you been?' she asked.

 

"Well, I haven't got a full time girl she moved out in a hurry," he said gesturing towards the lipstick jokingly "things are quite good however, changing everyday, who knows maybe I have turned a corner and am heading in the right direction, finally.  I miss her though." His mind drifted off to different times and a Deltan Counselor he just couldn't shake.

Kat bit her lip blushing  a bit. "I'm sorry....." she said smirking  bit as he gestured towards her lipstick she'd left behind. "I'm glad to hear things are getting better." she told him. "H..have you had a chance to meet doctor Asburn yet?" she asked blushing a lot as she said Jason's name. "I...I've kinda been swept off my feet by a handsome doctor." she grinned. 

 

"I have not.  I believe he may have done some work on me after the Hospital Incident but I was unconscious during it all.  I do not have time to meet him now.  Perhaps we could all have dinner or something in the near future, maybe at Bazinga's.  Have you been there yet?  I took my staff there for a party recently but it was a few weeks ago and I think things are settling over at that establishment.  Is there a day you two have off time together or a time that is good we could meet and get to know one another, well Doctor Asburn anyway."  Yim'Bar said kind of cheering up thinking of a night on the town.

"I was at the hospital when things got crazy.....I wish I'd known you'd got hurt." she told him. "I understand....No I don't think either one of us have been to Bazinga's , been meaning to go check it out but we seem to get a little distracted. " she said as her cheeks flushed crimson again. "I think it's a great idea....just let me know when and we'll be there." she added already looking forward to introducing Jason to an old friend of hers.

 

"Then the things I brought you should come in handy.  Shoot me a note and we will hook up for a night on the town."  Yim'Bar said, "I got a few things I need to handle have a great day Kat he said and hugged her as he left the building headed back to the mounting stack of PADDs and personnel issues.
