Yim'Bar looked at the Assistant Team Leader, Lace. Ensign Lia Argo as he had originally met her, he was surprised to see the team had indoctrinated her so quickly with a name of her own but it was encouraging he had to admit that. "Ensign, collect the team and let's go 'rogue' for the next fifty two hours." Yim'Bar said over his comm-badge, it was working stronger today. We will meet at Bazinga's the new place down the road and try it out. See you there, first rounds on me...Lace..." he stifled a chuckle. Yim'Bar got up from his desk; made sure everything was in place for him to be away, reminded the duty officer he could be contacted at any time, checked on the Command Center and went straight toBazinga's. He was excited about the opportunity. He found the location and hoped this was the right place for the team.

Lace looked at Yim'Bar or rather Blue and nodded her head with a soft chuckle and the usual mischievous look came into her eyes as she tapped her combadge in reply, "Will do Blue. It will be my pleasure to round up the guys. See you soon at Bazinga's. Oh and I hope it will be a strong first round. Lace out." and with another chuckle headed to where she knew the guys were hanging out at for the moment and was determined to drag them off if necessary.
Yim'Bar stood at the base of the establishment, a long wall of tall transparent aluminum. It looked inviting. People were coming in and going out, in low numbers, more in than out. Still, this might be worth a look. "See you when you get here, Ensign. Cho'Lu out." Yim'Bar entered the room and was immediately surprised by the scent in the space. Various cuisines from different places, a welcome surprise for Paradise. An ambiance heretofore missing from the colony, ‘civilization was that it?' he thought to himself. It reminded him of being back on Risa as a boy; there was something to do worth doing here for anyone who wanted to do anything. Or at least that was the air the place gave off. Yim'Bar looked confused as he entered, he was not quite sure if he should find a table or wait on someone. The place had opportunity but seemed to be missing something necessary to success, a staff. Yim'Bar was proud he had a staff to take care of him but he wasn't offering, Alpha Team was getting too strong to rip it up now. He decided to stand and wait the team had not gathered yet anyway.

Gaia bustled around her thoughts whirling as fast as her hands. In the pan went onion, garlic a splash of something else, some vegetables some orange, some purple, some green. All from the root family. The chef shook the pan and flipped the ingredients a few time to coat them, then let the pan sizzle over the fire. "DO that and we shall have no problems." Gaia said to the trainee.
Lace had little difficulty in gathering the team though she had to nearly drag Lucky away from his gadgets and had to use a bit of stern words to get him to cooperate with her and finally a bit of softer persuasion to cinch the deal. The others had been much easier to prod into the down time fun as they all headed together bantering a bit among themselves towards the Bazinga's new place. It tickled her to be mostly the center of attention as it seemed even on down time the guys in the group kept her surrounded in the middle of them but she took it all good naturedly as sort of a big brothers kind of thing with them. Lace waved as she saw Yim'Bar come into view and smiled with that mischievous look in her eyes again.

Yim'Bar relaxed when the main members of Alpha showed, it was for these few who this time was intended. Sing, Scrounge, Lucky and Lace. He chuckled to himself. "Senior said he would catch up. I have been here for a few minutes, they seem to be a little shorthanded. Let's wait a couple seconds more and if no one shows up we can either go straight to the bar or go up to Smug's." Yim'Bar shot a look at Argo on that one. "I take it everyone is playing well with one another?"

Lace nodded to Blue with a grin, "Fine by me if we wait a bit longer for Senior. My first time out with the guys...... very encouraging Blue." and she looked at each of the guys in turn still grinning and turned back to Blue, "Mostly Blue they are but had to give a bit of convincing to Lucky to break away from his toys for a while. Had to promise him some extra help and...., "She glances at Lucky a second before turning back, "A couple of dances to get him pried away."

Gaia rushed from the kitchen. They were so short staffed, half of the staff had walked away two days ago when an argument had broken out among some of the miners who had a little too much to drink. Half out of breath she quickly walked to the door where many folks waited to be seated. "Good day to you, welcome to Bazinga's. Would you like to be seated in the dining area or near the gaming area?" The dark blonde asked the group.

"Do you have room to accommodate," Yim'Bar began to count "Six, loud people who promise to start quietly over dinner, something quiet to start, louder later?"

"The gaming area is up the stairs and a bit louder." A soft roar of laughter, talk and repeated sound of 'Bazinga' could be heard around the corner up the stairs. "Our eating area has the wonderful view of the busy walkway but is much quieter." Gaia eyed the group of Fleeters.

"You are one of the newer establishments, tell us about Bazinga's, are you connected to the chain we see on other worlds?" Yim'Bar asked. "How long have you been open?"

Gaia led them to the right of the entrance past the stairs to very open dining area. The sight and smells that met them were many. The strongest was the various hints of herbs. The sight on the other hand was unique. Besides the clear view of the outside. Near the center of the room appeared an overly large water feature. "We have not opened officially. We are... what do Terrans call it..." Gaia searched her memory for the correct term before she continued "... open for preview of what to expect. Our official opening will occur in a few days."

Gaia paused at one of the larger tables "This should accommodate you nicely, please be seated. Jacsan will be your server." A dark haired wiry, strong humanoid moved closer and pulled out a chair for Lace. His dark face broke into a grin of extremely white teeth as he gestured towards Lace to sit.

Lace chuckled and moved to take the seat the gentleman offered her, "Thank you kind Sir." and she looked around at the rest of the team smiling as they took places at the table.

As the others seated themselves Gaia answered Yim'Bar "Bazinga's are located many places, you might have seen us on Risa, as we have a very small establishment there." Gaia replied to the tall, thick Andorian. "But of course it is but one of the many located at various locations throughout the universe. Bazinga's are a small but every growing chain."
"Jacsan, we are expecting one more. An old crotchety human. Actually he is ancient. When he arrives will you direct over here? He likes coffee straight, if you have it. Otherwise please bring the rest of these characters whatever they ask for. I will have Ice Water." Yim'Bar scanned the room and took a chair with an empty one beside it. He could easily see out the large windows and the door. Each of the team members seemed to jump for similar chairs. Then he looked to the proprietor, "Welcome to Paradise..." he said. "You wouldn't happen to have a suggestion for my team would you? I am starving."

Gaia grinned as her hands clutched her apron for a moment, to help contain her excitement. "I would suggest the special of the day. Start with the appetizer, of cabbage soup or a leafy green salad drizzled with a Kava Juice dressing. Then for the main course a base of local roots, with a fine seared piece of Andorian Redbat, dessert I recommend the Katterpod Cake."

Lace thought about what was offered for the specials and decided on a couple of things at least to start with, "I would like the leafy green salad drizzled with the Kava dressing, Some of those tasty lamb chops and I would like to try the Katterpod cake. Oh and some sweet warm rolls if you have anything close to it? What kind of drinks do you offer or suggest?"

"Lace, don't be afraid of a little Redbat meat." Yim'Bar replied. "It will sharpen your culinary experiences."

"Of course there is bread of various types, and some of the local fare if you prefer that. We also have a known Terran favorite of a variety of a lamb chop, for those who do not like bat." Gaia said.

Yim'Bar looked quizzically at their host he wanted to address her by name but did not know it, "...do you by chance serve the Redbat in the traditional manner on a bed of Glacial Ice?"

"Blue are you mad?" Scrounge asked, "won't that kill you?"

"Not if it is done right." Yim'Bar said. "Can you handle it?" he inquired.

Lace took that as a challenge and grinned mischievously as she took the bait on it, "Fine then instead of the lamb I will get the Redbat meat as well. If Blue can eat it then I will as well." she declared with a raised eyebrow at Yim'Bar.

"It's your stomach, Lace." Yim'Bar said. "Maybe our fine Chef here can prepare it over a bed of roots in the more preferred method, the one off-landers generally accept." Yim'Bar smiled at his assistant’s enthusiasm and eagerness to please, or make a name for herself. Lace had earned her name quickly. Yim'Bar wondered if she were trying too hard. Probably not, she had tasted the success that comes from a job well done. It was only normal to experience a euphoria following such activities.
