Justin walked into the medical facility and tepped his comm "Lt. Commader Lox to
Commander Cait Blake, I need to speak with you as soon as possible please, it is
urgent but not at the expense of your patients."

"On my way, Justin. I'll meet you at the reception desk." Cait grinned hugely,
tossed the PADD on the stack with the others and beat feet before Janet could
side track her with another budget report. She headed quickly to the first
floor, lab coat billowing behind her.

Justin took a seat and waited. He needed to talk to the Doctor before she moved
on to the Tremaine. He was sorry that she was leaving, but very glad as for the
reason.

Cait blew into the reception area like a small hurricane, smiling as she spotted
Justin. "Hello, Commander. To what do I owe the pleasure of your company?"

"I am here at the behest of the Captain . I need to speak to you, privately,
before you leave." Justin said.

"Alright. Follow me." Cait leads him to one of the empty offices. "Okay, this is
about as private as it gets here."

"I need your assessment of your department. Who you think will be able to
replace you when you leave for your new assignment. Why may be trouble if they
don't get it, etc." Justin said, then smiled.

"Katerina Wilkinson has the experience and just about every civilian physician
on staff will cause trouble if you replace me with another Starfleet officer.
I'll tell you, I don't really trust any of the staffers to do the job right.
Except for a handful, their aim will be to make money and to hell with those who
can't pay. The free clinics are seen as a monetary black hole." Cait made a
face. "I can give you the names of those whom I know will be supportive."

"I will need a complete assessment, for the Captain, of your entire staff, and a
list of those you can replace you in your position as chief." Justin shudder at
the thought of the paperwork he just asked her for. "I'd also like a timetable
for your departure. If you have it. I have some items for you that I want to
make sure get sent with you, that are currently still being checked in."

Cait blanched at the amount of paper work he was requesting. She still had her
own work to do and things to finish up before she left. "Alright.I'll get it to
you as quickly as I can. Hmm.I should actually have Kat acting in a temporary
capacity until the Captain makes a final decision. It'll also give her a chance
to see if she can do the job. Ask Dami if he would like me to do that."

"I will pass that along." Justin smiled "Have her help you."

"Will do..and Justin?"

"Yes?" Justin asked.

"I'm going to miss you. You've been a good friend and crewmate... even if your
piloting is crazy nutsoid." Cait smiled at him. This was the part she hated.
Saying to goodbye to the people she cared about.

"I'll be around... Just remember that if you need servicing that your own
engineering department can do, or can't get to in a timely manner, AFS-T4 will
be there." Justin smiled "I will miss you too. You are the only Doctor that
seems to know much about Trills. Really knows about us."

"I'll remind Toby as well and I won't leave you in a lurch. I'll suggest Kat
get the same training I had and there is a civilian doctor who's been certified
as well. Doctor Larry Summers. He's on my good list by the way."

"All right. I will let the Captain know you are on it." Justin said. "I'll
have to uplink your nav. officer about your flying preferences." Justin
smirked. "I suspect Rose will like being back on a ship again."

"Rose is happy just as long as she has me and Toby. I'm the one thanking the
Goddess for shipboard life again and the chance to actually act like a doctor
rather than a bean counter." Cait grinned.

"Yeah... I miss that too. At least we have too much that needs done that we
won't be idle. Oh! Pick up a program from my personal files... Program name is
'Epsilon 956'. It will help you deal with your routine paperwork. Won't help
much for evaluations or patient care, but keeping track of your supplies, and
daily schedules, it is a wonder."

"Thanks! I'll do that and I hate to say this but I have got to get back to my
office and get cracking if you want that info before sometime next year."

Justin nodded. "I'll check back tomorrow for the assessments."
