Hi,

I hope the day is going well! I just wanted to get in touch with the Philadelphia Area Rocketry Association on behalf of my son, Aidan. He knows he's not really  of his  supposed to message people he doesn't know online, so he asked if I could send along a little thank-you note for him.

He wanted to say that you've been such a wonderful help with his Space Exploration merit badge for Scouting America. For one of the requirements he needs to complete is to build, launch, and recover a model rocket, which he's very excited about! While researching the hobby and how to get started, we came across your links page, para520.com/Links.html and we really appreciated all the helpful information it shared. Thank you so much!

Aidan also had the wonderful idea of passing along an article he thought was useful! It covers everything from the history and safety of model rockets to construction, the science behind them, and some fun facts: www.elevators.com/lift-off-model-rocket-maintenance-and-technology/

He thought it could be a nice addition to your page, especially for people who are just getting started with model rocketry. If you end up using it, I'd love to be able to tell Aidan! I know he'd get a kick out of seeing something he found actually make it onto the site to help other beginners out. Plus, I'm sure he'll be thrilled to show his merit badge counselor how seriously he's taking earning this one! :)

Really hope to hear back from you if you have the time!

All the best and enjoy the rest of your day,
Aidan and Alice Schorr
