Hi all,
I hope your midsem exams went better than mine... ;-)
Its time to get back to work.

Next session on CUDA will be on application of Shared memory and related issues.
Date : Monday, 15th Oct, 2012
Time : 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Venue : LTC 5101

Please go through old concepts before the session (you can use the online book in library).
It will be very easy for you to understand implementation of shared memory if you have non-shared memory implementation with you. Try to come with some self-written code for array reversal, multiple block matrix multiplication, matrix transpose, etc.

There will be another CUDA session on Wednesday. We will discuss "Sum Reduction using CUDA".
Its one of the classic example of optimizations in CUDA.

Regards,
Saiyedul Islam

Hi all,
I hope you all are enjoying your vacations to the fullest.

Today, I found that I haven't uploaded the slide for this session. So here is the slide.

Yours sincerely,
