Appeal : Need laptops with Nvidia GPU for conducting hands-on session

Hi guys,

I want to conduct a hands-on session on CUDA where you can get your hands dirty and actually see the speedup w.r.t. serial codes.

The big problem is that we don't have any Nvidia GPUs in any of our labs (yet).

We can still do it if we could get some laptops with CUDA capabale GPU. We can install CUDA in linux, connect the system to lab's LAN and provide access to few people on each system in the lab.

We need people who can volunteer their laptop for the job. If you want to, please reply to this post as soon as possible.

I want to to do this next Sunday (21st Oct).

Any alternate plan is also most welcome. (Any whereabouts of Nvidia GPUs in any hidden system in the institute will be handsomely rewarded :-))

Hi Sir,
I do have NVIDIA GeForce 610M graphics card with 48 cuda cores and 1gb memory in my laptop but wld b leaving for home on 20th on account of dusshera holidays.... if u want i can bring it in today's session. Also havn't tried executing any code yet, hope dat wldn't b a problem - Ubuntu 12.04 is installed.
