Greetings from Harding's PA program,
You are receiving this email because, at one time, you expressed interest in our PA program.
In August of this year we began our 4th class of 32
PA students in our new facility, the Center for Health Sciences. Here is a link to view a picture of this new facility http://www.harding.edu/PAprogram/images/hrc.jpg
Not only are we in a new building, we now begin classes in August rather than June and we share these facilities with the new College of Pharmacy. These are exciting times.
Attached is a flier announcing our open house/information session
scheduled for November 8th from 1-3 PM. All interested parties are welcome to attend.
On October 24th
at 3:30PM, Harding is officially dedicated the Health Science Building. If you are local and interested in attending, come on by. There is a map to our building on our website, www.harding.edu/paprogram.
Our 2nd class of students graduated in July and
have all passed their PANCE exams. We had a 88% first time pass rate on the
PANCE in our first class with 100% pass rate with successive attempts. At last count, 24 of our 38 graduates are
practicing in the state of AR in areas ranging from primary care, urgent care,
ER, dermatology, orthopedics, mental health, neurology, cardio-vascular, prison
medicine, Air Force, geriatrics and cancer care. The PA profession is rich with opportunities. Our student population has come from 20 states, including the state of Arkansas.
I hope this gives you a brief update into what is happening at our program. Please feel free to contact me if you desire more information.
