TheGavril Grand Marshal is a full-size four-door, body-on-frame sedan produced by Gavril from 1990 to 1997. It is equipped with a 4.5L V8 engine by default, which outputs 217 horsepower with its standard fuel injectors. It is also available with a 5.5L V8 engine, used in police and performance variants. Like contemporary full-sized sedans, it handles smoothly but slightly unresponsively, and standard models' soft suspension makes for a comfortable ride. The vehicle's ground clearance is also rather low, with anything more than a minor bump having the potential to catch the bumpers, resulting in damage to them. The initial acceleration of the vehicle is slow, but the V8 engine is potent, offering relatively high top speeds. The vehicle also has average levels of crash safety, with the chassis remaining relatively rigid during impacts to keep the general shape of the car, but with plenty of crumple zones to allow absorption of an impact.
The Grand Marshal was first seen in a video on BeamNG's official YouTube channel, uploaded on July 7, 2012.[1] Shortly after, a thread was created made providing details and development screenshots.[2]
During its development, Gabester confirmed that a police variant (on September 21, 2012) and a taxi variant (on January 9, 2013) would be added. On November 28, 2012, he stated that the interior was nearly done,[3] and on June 20, 2013, he stated that he had begun working on police-related parts.[4] The Grand Marshal (including the promised police variant) was released on August 5, 2013 with verison 0.3, the initial public release of the game.
In update 0.17.1, released on August 29, 2019, the Grand Marshal received a complete overhaul. The body and frame were made fully separable, the inner front fender structure was reworked to be more accurate to contemporary full-size sedans, improvements were made to the mesh and JBEAM structure, and several new parts and configurations were added.[7][8]
If you cannot see the BeamMP version number and the active members count in the bottom right corner of BeamMP that means that there is no connection between the launcher and the game. This can be caused by your firewall blocking traffic to and from BeamMP and the Launcher. Create an exception in your firewall for BeamMP related connections. "attempting to login" fix!
BeamMP does not like pirated versions of BeamNG, we had one guy that submitted for the log in issue and he was running like BeamNG 0.17 or something. Buy the game properly, this could clear any number of issues.
* The spawn points only available in Gridmap, East Coast USA, Hirochi Raceway, ETK Driver Experience Centre, Jungle Rock Island, Utah USA, Small Island USA, and Industrial Site. Except for Derby Arenas, Cliff, Dry Rock Island, Port, and Template Map. Later the Derby Arenas received it's remaster in update 0.17 with new spawn points added. But the other map that doesn't have the spawn point were still never updated.
